Weigelt, Silvia (nee: Gohl) of London, Ontario passed away peacefully, while surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Victoria Hospital, at the age of 80. Silvia was the soulmate of Karl-Heinz, married for 58 years.

She was also the proud mother of Sabine Jewell, John Weigelt (Ruth Gallacher) and Tanya Weigelt (Peter Kovacs). Proud Omi of Maximillian, Brynn, Abigail, Hayden, Carter, Daniel and Bianca. She is also survived by her sister Gabrielle in Berlin and nephew Robert.

Silvia was born on January 22, 1945 in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of the late Mathilde and Rudolph Gohl. She was a Manager at the Bank of Montreal, always leaving a positive impact on colleagues and customers alike.

Silvia had a passion for music, singing in the Fanshawe Symphonic Chorus as well as the German Club Choir. She and Karl took great pleasure in travelling, sailing and spending time with their friends at the German club partaking in many adventures with friends and family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family wish to thank the staff at Victoria Hospital for all their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life open house visitation  will be held at the Mcfarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Rd S ., London on Saturday December 6th from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the LHSC University or Victoria Hospitals https://lhsf.ca/ or to the Canadian Red Cross https://www.redcross.ca/ in memory of Silvia.
