It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Blake Gough at Parkwood Institute on Tuesday April 19, 2022 in his 84th year. Blake was born in Westminster Twp on May 27, 1938. Beloved husband for 61 years of Evelyn (Rath) Gough of London. Loving father of Al and Denine of Belmont, and Gord and Colleen of Dorchester. Proud Grandpa of Donny and Casey, Sean, Blake and Jess, Laura and Christian, and Great Grandpa of Connor and Emilia. Dear brother of Georgina and the late Elmer Carroll , Betty and the late Walter Gough, Isabelle and the late Morley Gough, Marlene and the late Douglas Gough. Predeceased by Delmar & Doris Gough, Argyle & Marion Gough, Joy & Jim White, Alice & Ron Jones, Myrla & David Coatsworth, Rose Marie & Don Thompson, brother-in-law of Muriel and the late Robert Moore of Michigan. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Blake was a member of the IBEW for over 50 years. Blake was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
At Blake’s request, there will be no visitation. A private family celebration of Blake’s life will be held at White Oak Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Penny officiating.
