To the McGill Family, Sending my sincere sympathy on the loss of your very special mom. Sadly, we hadn’t seen each other in quite a few years, but I have such wonderful memories of Shirley’s contagious smile and ever present twinkle in her eyes. Shirley worked for me at Dishingtons Tea Room and I definitely couldn’t have done it without her. She had a huge heart and love for her family. I always felt so welcome by both Shirley and Tom when I was in their home. I wish you continued comfort in the memory of the love that surrounded your family. Linda Cross ( formerly of Dishingtons and Cross Country Flowers)

Dear Judy, Debbie, Brian & Family, So sorry to read of your Mom's passing. I always enjoyed running into her and your Dad. They always had time for a smile and a friendly chat. I think the last time I saw them was down around the Community Centre. A long time ago but I have such Lovely Lambeth memories! Cherish all YOUR wonderful memories! Fondly, Gerrie Evans

Shirley & Tom were great friends and neighbours for so many years. Such a loving caring family who were all there for one another and others as well. Ron and I spent many hours playing games , chatting and enjoying each others company. We treasured their sincere friendship! We want to express our most sincere sympathy in your loss of your Mom and dear friend.

Shirley, Tom and the entire McGill family were the best of friends and neighbours while we grew up in Lambeth. I remember skating on their outdoor rink as a kid, coaching baseball with Tom while Shirley cheered from the bleachers. Spending vacation time at the Rock Castle cottages on the Severn River. Fun times I will always remember. Our deepest condolences to the family. Mike and Marie Black.
