I’m very sad to learn of Mary’s passing. She was an adult student of mine for a few years. What made Mary special is that she kept in touch with me for some 20 years following our time in the classroom together. It was always a happy occasion when she would call or when we met at various adult education functions. She was very proud of her family, and had a zest for living ‘right’. My condolences to Mary’s family.
