So sad to hear of the passing of Bob. My father, Bill Laidlaw, had so much respect for Bob. I knew him way back when I was a teenager and he and Eileen were growing their family. As families, we had many weekends trailering at Ipperwash Beach. We always had a great time telling stories around the campfire and enjoying each other’s company. What a wonderful man, who with his wife, Eileen, raised two wonderful sons. Jeff, I am so sorry for all of your losses in the last few years. It must be incredibly hard. I had the pleasure of looking after Bob's eyes for many years. We always had great chats and I will miss him and our visits. Bob was always so sharp and I loved the little book he carried around for his appointments. My sincere condolences to his family. Dr. Erin Maruscak

Bob was the epitome of a gentleman's gentleman. I've known Bob as a close friend and brother for over fifty years. I will miss him dearly and regret the fact that I cannot be there for both his service at McFarlane Roberts and the memorial at the Lambeth Church. However, I will be thinking of Bob during those times. Please Jeff accept my sincere condolences to you and your wonderful family.

Thinking of Jeff and Debbie and remembering our youthful years "at the lake." What great times and wonderful memories we made. Not the least of which were the fun times shared between the Wilson and Malpass families. I will treasure those memories always. If a person is fortunate, and it may take a few years, adult children start to realize how great their parents really were. Your parents, Jeff, were the best.
