Our thoughts and Prayers are with all of the Family of Anne as we celebrate her beautiful and amazing life today. It has been a pleasure and honor to have known Anne through our St. Anne's Parish Family. She has been an amazing mentor to many of us over the years. We shall miss her words of wisdom. A special Thank You to Barb and Gerry for keeping our communication to Anne open. We will miss you Anne and thank you for your many Blessings.....Nancy

During our visit to Canada in 2008, we had a meal together at the restaurant in Komoka. Anne was always ready for an outing. My first memories of Anne were family picnics with her and her husband behind their home in Byron. Then came all the Christmas Days spent together and then working on the Western Fair project at St. Anne's. I grew up and moved away to settle in France. Anne welcomed my French husband with open arms. She was a great traveller – we were happy to show her our home here in France and to take her to the parts of France she wished to see. She always enjoyed the rural areas, visiting a farm, seeing the cows come home from the fields at the end of the day. Anne was a generous friend. We will miss her smile and positive outlook on life. Dear Barb, Jerry, Dal and Myrna, We are so sorry to learn of Anne's passing. It was the fear we had of going away on a holiday. It feels to us like we have "abandoned the ship." We sure would like to be there with and for you. I am sure Ed has served you well. Anne sure was a strong and "tough" lady, but the key word is LADY. She certainly was elegant in her ways, wasn't she? I only knew her as prim and proper. 110 is an unbelievable accomplishment and one very few people will equal. Can you imagine all the things Anne would have experienced in her lifetime? Anne has outlived so many people, but she will still be missed by the staff at Middlesex Terrace and her friends at St Anne's Anglican Church, the church she loved so dearly. We will be thinking of you during Anne's celebration of life. Anne's life is truly one that needs to be justly celebrated.

We are so saddened by the loss of Anne. She was truly a gracious lady. She loved company and loved to talk about years gone by. She was always was so respectful in everything she said and did. Once I asked her about how it was that she had lived so long...she said "well I didn't smoke, hardly drank, exercised everyday and tried very hard not to stress out about too much" if that's all it takes, we all hope to endure and age as graceful as she. I was Anne's nurse for 8 years while she lived at Middlesex Terrace.
