So sorry to hear of Mr. Queen's passing.
He was an excellent teacher who was always intelligent and insightful. I graduated from the Manufacturing Engineering Technician program in 1990 and always felt that Mr. Queenan contributed to my success in a big way.
We've lost one of the good ones.

My sincere condolences to John's family. I worked with John for many years at Fanshawe but never really new him well until we joined forces to try to wrestle the SAE race car into being. Never one to back down from expected standards, John held all our feet to the fire to bring the project to life. John was a great teacher and always had a wee smile that helped keep things real when dealing with tough situations. Rest in peace John.

My condolences to John's family. I was fortunate to know John as a friend and colleague for many years at Fanshawe College. His warmth, good humour, and common sense helped us all, particularly in troubled times. With (distant) Scottish ancestry myself, I marvelled at how many cups of tea John could get out of a single teabag - a feat that I aspired to, but never equaled. Rest in peace, John.

My memories of John go back many years ago to boyhood days in Clydebank where both Johns family and my own were very friendly.John and his brother Hugh and myself then grew into adulthood and remained very good friends having fun together.
