Obituary of Marilyn Lillian Mathieson

Marilyn was a strong Christian woman who loved and served diligently for her Lord and Saviour.  Marilyn Lillian Mathieson of London went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, April 23, 2017, in her 72nd year.  Loving wife of the late Robert Mathieson (2011).  Devoted mother of Lawrence Sr. and Catherine Mathieson of High River, Alberta, Heather and Paul Gilmore of Calgary, and Lisa Mathieson of London.  Proud grandmother of Stephanie and Paul Burgess, Lawrence Mathieson Jr., Melissa and Paul Beaudry, Emily and Brad Tennant, Joey Mathieson, Kolby Gilmore and Daphine Mathieson and her great-granddaugher Everly Burgess.  Dear sister of Cheryl and Kevin MacDonald of Wardsville and Ron and Mary Sumners of Cape Breton Island, N. S.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  Predeceased by her parents Ray and Dorothy Sumners and her brother Larry. 
Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 2-4 p.m., where the celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Brian Scott officiating.  Private interment Mayhew Mt.
