Obituary of Sonny O'Brien

Sonny O’Brien Peacefully at Victoria Hospital Sonny (Graham) O’Brien, of Lambeth, went to join his sweetheart Barb (Walker) (2014) on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in his 83rd year. Loving and proud father of Shawn (Janet), Jeff (Nancy), Dan (Lisa), and Wayne (Vicki). Sonny cherished his grandchildren Cody (Kayla), Haley, Jaclyn, Jocelyn, Nicole, Devin, Shaylynn, Quinton, Bryce, Colton and Keegan. Dear brother of Marilyn, Donna, Joe, Mary Jane, Tony, Frannie and Colleen. Predeceased by his daughter Barbara Ann and his grandson Riley (2015). Sonny will be missed by his many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including his companion Chloe. Sonny resided in Lambeth and was a past president of the Lambeth Lions Club, a long term masonry contractor and had a life-long passion of chuck wagon and chariot racing. Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the celebration of Sonny’s life will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11am. Reverend Matthew Martin officiating. Interment at the Rose Garden at a later date.
